Wrap up

I want to personally say thank you to everyone that was able to tune in and watch my livestream last night. There was an awesome turnout and I had a really great time- I hope you enjoyed it as much as i did! For those that couldnt catch it, but still would like to see me draw, answer questions, get off topic, and talk about scarves, you can watch the recorded video HERE.

About last night...

I wanted to clarify to those who werent able to make the first 30 minutes of my live stream drawing on Ustream about what happened yesterday.

I was banned from Ustream.



Why? Well because I did a drawing of a nude figure and I guess that violated their terms of service.

Ha.

But overall I was a little bummed I couldnt do more for the people that showed up. At the moment I was kicked off, there were over 100 viewers and I wanted to personally say thank you to all the support of the people who tuned in!!

I'll do my best to set up an account in the next few weeks on one of the other many streaming sites and see if I cant do another session. But until then, hopefully this run-in with the 'man' will give me a major boost to my art street-cred. Oh, and here's said drawing.

Solo Show Tease

With Art Pad in San Francisco being next week, I was able to ship a piece out to California and get it up for the art fair satellite with the help of Spoke Art.
This is the first finished piece of my show that I'll be posting just to give you a taste for what's already in the works. I couldn't be more excited with how this body of work is turning out.

NYC

This weekend was awesome!
I went up to NYC for the Society of Illustrators student show, in which a couple of my pieces were displayed and I was able to receive my scholarship during ceremony. The rest of my 4 days there were spent hanging with some of the most RAD creative young talents I know. Chillin with Daniel Fishel, Robyn Ng, Dadu Shin, Jeremy Enecio, Scott Zitta, JooHee Yoon, Alexi Fisk, Nina Goffi- Not to mention meeting/hanging with Zelda Devon, Kurt Huggins, Irene Gallo, Scott Bakal, Scott Altmann, and a bajillion other people!

I cant wait to move to NYC at the end of summer.

Thank you guys for making my trip a blast and showing me a good time. Not to mention making me want to work harder than I ever have before. Good things to come.

It's about 2 hours long and I spend the time explaining my process and answering questions watchers where asking in the chat room. I had an awesome time filming it and hope to do more soon!

I'm also going to be in NYC this weekend for the SOI student show and I'm really excited to hang out with some talented people. Maybe I'll see you there?
