Blitzkrieg

This piece started out as an experiment, and I liked the direction it went in. I've been itching to explore new ways of meshing the digital and traditional techniques together, trying so hard to not make it look like it's 'too much'. The skull in this image was actually originally drawn in white chalk on tan paper, but other than the original drawing, I had no plan as to what i wanted it to look like. I miss the days where I could just sit down and draw and not have to plan everything out....sighhhh....

and hope everyone had a great Halloween!
i did.

  4. Oh man, I'm lost for words. That piece is just mind blowing! Really love the squiggles in the bottom half - was that a tradition/digital thing? It's great that the photoshop work is so subtle.

  5. This piece is awesome, it's kinda different from your other stuff, i like it! Your style seems to have a really broad range to it and thats really really great. I think it's really hard to get to the point where you have a defined style, that you can play/ experiment with and still have it look like your style. and in my eyes you've achieved that
also, love your general color palette.

    hell yeah team rocket!

  9. Very cool artwork! And yes, I think it's awesome that you've found your style but can procure stuff that's different but still in tune with the others!

Btw, I laughed when I saw the mouse on your shoulder. Happy Halloween!

  10. Haha! wth , that pokemon video.. I have really never heard of it before.. hilarious..

About your post: it kinda takes away a share of the fun when you're obligated to be creative all the time.
But your drawings really doesn't look too much thought over..it has very nice balance
    Really nice atmosphere and technique!
